Growth & Development

Client Profile

15–25-month-old toddler navigating a parental custody battle with frequent transitions between homes during breastfeeding age; recurrent colds, sleep disruption, and separation anxiety.

The Challenge

When she first came for care, she was pale, low-energy, and losing sleep—skipping naps and constantly fighting colds. The repeated separations between parents and constant changes in the overnight environment left her anxious and overtired. At times, she became "zombie-like"—exhausted, fragile, and prone to emotional breakdowns when things didn't go her way. Her system showed signs of behavioral shutdown and disconnection, avoiding eye contact and struggling to feel safe or soothed.

The Journey

Sessions focused on soothing her overwhelmed nervous system and helping her body remember safety. Sessions released the stress patterns imprinted from witnessing conflict and frequent separations, while repatterning calm, secure moments. Through these anchors, her system began to associate transitions with comfort instead of fear, building capacity for easier separations, supporting emotional stability, and immune resilience.

The Outcome

Mom reports a noticeable shift: better sleep, stronger immunity, and a confident, happy toddler. Transitions are smoother (even between her parents), and attention/vision improved.

Timeframe

"She's been doing really, really well… total personality shift, super comfortable, super confident, secure… after last Thursday's overnight at Dad's, Friday she asked to go to sleep at her grandma's and did a long full-night of sleep… super successful."
